NJ FamilyCare Medicaid and CHIP coverage are for people who have low income. If you qualify for Medicaid or CHIP, NJ FamilyCare covers expenses like doctor visits, eyeglasses, hospitalization, lab tests, X-rays, prescriptions, regular check-ups, mental health, dental, and preventative screenings.
